Nepal Telecom New Job Vacancy For Various Posts 2079 - With Requirement Qualification Details

According to the approval from the Public Service Commission, the following written posts that are vacant in this company are to be filled permanently through an open and inclusive competition as per the Staff Regulations of Nepal Telecommunications Company Limited, 2078 (including the first amendment) and are qualified as follows, are not disqualified as per Regulation 17 and have passed the examination by the Public Service Commission Online applications have been invited from interested Nepali citizens who have not been prosecuted for irregularity before being able to participate in any examination conducted by the commission for a certain period. The applicant should upload the certificate of Nepali citizenship, recent passport size photograph, sample signature, certificates of minimum educational qualification, training, experience, council registration certificate, inclusion certificate, equivalency determination letters in the specified place of the online form on the company's website: www.ntc.net .np or through Online System through recruit.ntc.net.np. No action will be taken on an application that is submitted before the due date or without the necessary documents attached to the application. If the details filled and uploaded by the applicant while filling the form through the online system are not as specified or found to be incorrect, the applicant himself will be responsible for such details.

The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission. Here are the following detailed vacancies with vacancy number, post, sewa/samuha, level, open and inclusive post details.

Minimum Qualification Required:

1. For the post of Deputy Manager, Telecom:

The relevant service of this company from a recognized educational institution, having passed the post-graduate level in the subject prescribed for entry into the official level position of the group and registered with the Nepal Engineering Council as per the prevailing law and the civil service of the Government of Nepal / government service or university or Must have at least five years of experience in teacher service or official level position of an organized organization. But in the case of candidates who have obtained a degree, they can be candidates even if they have less than two years of experience.

The prescribed subject for initial service entry into the respective service group's official level post is 'Telecommunications and Communication or Radio or Electrical and Communications or Electrical and Electronics or Information Technology, Computer Software or Computer Hardware Engineering or Electronics Engineering (any one of Communication, Electronics, Computer, Radio subject) or Computer Science, Information Communication or any one of the similar subjects or Electrical or Electrical Engineering or any of the similar subjects or Mechanical, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning or Mechanical Engineering or any of the similar subjects'.

2. For the post of Senior Engineer, Telecom: 

Graduated from a recognized educational institution in the relevant service of this company, has passed the post-graduate level in the subject prescribed for entry into the official level position of the group and is registered with the Nepal Engineering Council as per the prevailing law and is a civil service / government service of the Government of Nepal or a university or Must have at least five years of experience in teacher service or official level position of an organized organization. But in the case of candidates who have obtained a degree, they can be candidates even if they have less than two years of experience.

The prescribed subject for initial service entry into the respective service group's official level post is 'Telecommunications and Communication or Radio or Electrical and Communications or Electrical and Electronics or Information Technology, Computer Software or Computer Hardware Engineering or Electronics Engineering (any one of Communication, Electronics, Computer, Radio subject) or Computer Science, Information Communication or any one of the similar subjects or Electrical or Electrical Engineering or any of the similar subjects or Mechanical, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning or Mechanical Engineering or any of the similar subjects'.

3. For Senior Accounts Officer, Accounts post:

Must have passed master's degree in management, commerce or business administration from a recognized educational institution and must have at least five years of experience in Nepal government civil service / government service or university or teacher service or official level position in an organized organization. But in the case of candidates who have obtained a degree, they can be candidates even if they have less than two years of experience.

4. For the post of Telecom Engineer (Electronics and Communication):

Telecommunications and Communication or Radio or Electrical and Communications or Electrical and Electronics or Information Technology, Computer Software or Computer Hardware Engineering or Electronics Engineering (any one of Communication, Electronics, Computer, Radio) from a recognized educational institution Graduate degree in the subject and registered in Nepal Engineering Council according to prevailing laws.

5. For the post of Telecom Engineer (Computer):

Having obtained a bachelor's degree from a recognized educational institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Communication, Computer Software, Computer Hardware or Computer Engineering or any of the similar subjects and registered with the Nepal Engineering Council as per the prevailing law.

6. For the post of Telecom Engineer (Electrical):

Graduated from a recognized educational institution in Electrical, Electronics and Electrical or Electrical and Communications or Electrical Engineering or any of the similar subjects and registered with Nepal Engineering Council as per prevailing law.

7. Engineer, civil engineering:

Graduate degree in civil engineering from a recognized educational institution and registered with the Nepal Engineering Council as per prevailing laws.

8. For the post of Assistant Administrative Officer:

Graduate or equivalent in any subject from a recognized educational institution.

9. For the post of Assistant Business Officer:

Bachelor's degree in Management, Commerce or Business Administration from a recognized educational institution or one of the core subjects of Economics, Mathematics or Statistics or equivalent.

10. For Technician Posts:

S.L.C from a recognized educational institution. Or having passed the same and having received the training of transmission, outside, power, switching or telecom technician from the telecommunication training center of Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited or having passed the level 2 skill test in the subject of transmission, outside, power, switching from the National Skill Testing Center.

11. For Assistant Posts:

From a recognized educational institution. e. At least G. in E. P. A. Two received or S.L.C. Or passed the same. 

12. For the post of Junior Technician:

Passed 10th standard from a recognized educational institution in Nepal Telecommunication Company Ltd.

Trained in Transmission, Outside, Power, Switching or Junior Technician training from a training center or passed level 1 skill test in Transmission, Outside, Power, Switching from a National Skill Testing Center.

Age limit:

Completed 18 years and not exceeding 35 years for Assistant level posts, 21 years and not exceeding 35 years for Level 6 to Level 7 officer level posts and 21 years for Level 8 and Level 9 officer level posts by the last date of application. Completion should be less than 40 years. Also, for all the posts, the upper age limit should not exceed 40 years in case of women and disabled candidates. For the said purpose, the last date of submission of application (21 days deadline) will be considered as basis while calculating the age. The period of filing the application by paying the double fee will not be counted. There will be no age limit for the existing permanent employees of Nepal Telecommunications Company. 

Mode of Examination:

Written, Interview and Practical (Only for Level 3 and Level 4 towards Technical Services).

Examination fee submission process:

After submitting the online application form, go to Payment Option and choose one of the Namaste Pay, Connect IPS, e-Sewa and Khalti wallets to pay or the applicants who want to pay from the company's toll counters can enter Token No. On the day after the last date for receiving the late application along with the mentioned Slip (if the said day falls on a public holiday, the first day after the office opens), they can go to the company's toll counters and pay the specified examination fee/double fee within the opening hours of the toll counter.

Last date to fill the application form:

Till 2079/12/02 and double fee till 2079/12/09.

Date, Time and Center of Written Examination:

The written examination of the above advertisements will be conducted in Kathmandu on the specified date, time and center as published in the notification by the Public Service Commission.

Examination Fee:

Examination fee should be paid on following rates for respective posts and levels.

Note: 

If you apply only for the inclusive group without applying for the open one, the same exam fee as the open one will be charged for the first one group. For more inclusive groups, additional fees will be charged as mentioned above.

Educational qualification, enrollment certificate, council registration certificate, training, experience, service period obtained after the last date of application (single application deadline) will not be valid. Candidates who have studied in foreign institutions must have their qualifications determined by the relevant authorities.
